Three women deny attacking young mum who was left partially bald in alleged nightclub assault

Three women have denied attacking a young mum who was left partially bald after an alleged nightclub assault.

Donna Goulding, Chloe Cummings and Toni Tyler are accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on Hollie-Louise Brown.

It is claimed Hollie was left with cuts and bruises and large bald patches after the incident at Bubbles, in Ashington, on September 9 last year.

The three accused all denied a charge of GBH during a brief hearing at Newcastle Crown Court and they will stand trial next February.

Goulding, 24, of Milburn Road, Ashington, Cummings, 25, of Oswald Road, Newbiggin and Tyler, 29, of Glenwood, Ashington, were further released on bail until then.

We reported previously how, after Hollie’s friends launched a fundraising drive to help fix her hair, a Newcastle salon stepped in and fitted a hairpiece free of charge while the mum-of-two waits for her brunette locks to grow back.

After the attack, Hollie, 23, said: “I just can’t stop sobbing every time I walk past the mirror.

“My two babies have had to see me like this and it’s broken my heart.

“I’m absolutely heartbroken at the state of myself. I don’t know how I’m ever going to face the outside world again.”
